Cristina
Santinho
is
an
integrated
researcher,
hired
by
the
Centro
em
Rede
de
Investigação
em
Antropologia
(CRIA
-
ISCTE),
funded
by
FCT.
She
belongs
to
the
Governance,
Politics
and
Quotidian
Research
Group.
She
has
a
PhD
from
the
Department
of
Anthropology
of
ISCTE/IUL
with
the
thesis
Refugees
and
asylum
seekers
in
Portugal:
political
contours
in
the
field
of
health
(2011).
Her
area
of
research,
par
excellence,
has
focused
on
the
reception
and
integration
of
refugees
in
Portugal,
both
from
the
point
of
view
of
health,
education
and
integration
through
art.
LECTIVITIES
AND
ORIENTATIONS:
She
coordinates
and
teaches
two
courses
at
CRIA,
ISCTE-IUL:
1)
"Specialization
in
Refugees,
Human
Rights
and
Reception:
National
and
International
Perspectives"
and
2)
"Living
in
a
Different
Culture",
which
began
in
2017.
This
course
was
created
to
facilitate
refugee
students'
access
to
higher
education.
She
also
teaches
Multiculturalism
at
the
Languages
and
Transversal
Competences
Laboratory
(LLCT)-ISCTE-IUL.
