CIES e-Working Papers

The published CIES e-WP are available, in OpenAcess, in the Repositório da Biblioteca do ISCTE-IUL (ISCTE-IUL Library), where they can be searched by date, author, title or theme.

 

The series CIES e-Working Papers (e-WP), started in 2005, has as its main objective the publication of scientific work in electronic format which result from the research developed both by CIES-IUL researchers and by researchers who collaborate with the members or activities of the Centre.

 

The CIES e-WP have a "work in progress" character and can be theoretical or conceptual texts, both methodological and empirical. The texts proposed for publication are evaluated by the Editorial Council and subject to peer review, so as to assure the quality and scientific relevance standards of the work produced in the centre. They have an international scope, and have as publishing languages Portuguese, English, Spanish, French or Italian.

 

How to Submit a CIES e-WP Proposal:

The rules for the presentation of original papers, in what concerns the text's style and graphical format are the same as those in the journal Sociologia, Problemas e Práticas (to be found here), and if in Portuguese should obey the rules of new ortographic agreement. The WP should have between 7.000 and 15.000 words, together with a 150 to 200 word abstract as well as 3 to 5 keywords.
