Francisco

Cuberos
Gallardo
holds
a
Ph.D.
in
Social
Anthropology
from
the
University
of
Seville
and
works
as
researcher
at
the
Center
for
Research
and
Studies
in
Sociology
(CIES-IUL).
His
work
focuses
on
the
comparative
analysis
of
migratory processes
and
dynamics
of
urban
conflict
in
the
Iberian
Peninsula
and
Latin
America.
He
has
participated
in several
research
projects
on
these
topics
and
has
done
fieldwork
in
Seville,
Lisbon
and
Buenos
Aires.
He
is
coauthor
of
two
books
and
several
book
chapters
and
articles
in
specialized
magazines,
including International
Journal
of
Urban
and
Regional
Research,
International
Migration,
Journal
of
Urban
History,
Interventions, Ethnic
and
Racial
Studies
and
Cultural
Studies.
