Santos
holds
a
degree
in
Sociology
and
a
Master
in
Public
Policy
from
ISCTE
-
Instituto
Universitário
de
Lisboa.
She
is
currently
a
doctoral
fellow
at
the
Foundation
for
Science
and
Technology
(FCT)
and
research
assistant
at
the
Centre
for
Research
and
Studies
in
Sociology
(CIES-IUL)
where
she
develops
her
doctoral
project
on
"Protection
of
cyberspace:
Political
decision-making
processes
in
the
European
Union
and
NATO".
Her
research
interests
focus
security
and
defence
policy,
international
organizations,
cyber-security
and
cyber-defence,
as
well
as
on
policy-making
processes.
