Bruno
Oliveira
is
a
social
researcher
in
the
area
of
comparative
social
policies,
namely,
policies
of
income
schemes inspired
in
the
idea
of
basic
income.
In
his
latest
work
(funded
by
FCT
[SFRH/BD/136071/2018]),
he
developed
a
municipalist
perspective
through
Europeanisation
processes.
Previously,
he
worked
on
the
theme
of
labour
market
segmentation,
in
the
Lisbon
district,
with
a
two-generation
historical-comparative
perspective,
under
the
title "Labour
Market
Segmentation
between
generations
(Millennials
vs.
Xers):
a
view
on
Lisbon
from
1986
until
2016".
He
was
a
sociologist
and
teacher
in
the
vocational
and
training
system
(VET)
where
he
worked
in
the
strategic
planning
office
and
taught
the
modules
of
social
inequalities
and
social
policies
of
the
subject
sociology.
He
was
invited,
during
his
PhD
work,
to
teach
some
classes
of
the
subject

and
Social
Policies
