Maria Luísa Brandão Tiago de Oliveira completed her PhD in Modern and Contemporary History in 2000 at ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and her degree in History in 1981 at the University of Lisbon. She is an Assistant Professor at ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a full researcher at CIES. Historian, she frequently collaborates with colleagues from other Social Sciences. Areas of interest: Oral History, Resistance Cultures, Transition to Democracy, Social Movements. She is the author, co-author or organizer of 11 books (2 of them are reprintes ins hort and actualized versions) . She has published 8 articles in specialized journals. She has also published 43 book chapters (21 of them are interviews). She has organised 21 scientific events. Also, she has presented 43 oral comunications in scientific events.
