Susana Mourão is Researcher at CIES-IUL. Started her career working in the primary care services as a nurse (2009), intervening on child health promotion. Has a Master (2011) and a PhD (2019) in Psychology, from ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), where studied the immigrants' health experiences and behaviors in the child primary care services. Has also collaborated with the Centre for Social Research and Intervention (2013-2014), with the Institute of Environmental Health (2020) and with the National School of Public Health (2020-2021), in research projects focusing in exploring interactions between the social environment and health. Present research interests are linked to the role of social disparities on health, and, more recently, on education area (Project EduCig). Holds also a post-graduation in Data Analysis in Social Sciences (2015), from ISCTE-IUL, having expertise on applying different methodological approaches of data collection and analysis.
