Social Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, Lisbon, 2000 Licentiate Social Anthropology, ISCTE, Lisbon, 1994 My research is dedicated to nature conservation, having as empirical material the relation between humans and certain species, like wolves and more recently the honey-bee, within the scope of Europe. I have experience in working within trans-disciplinary environments and enjoy developing new models for human-nature relationships alongside social technologies for transformative learning. I've been promoting these action-research approaches with students in International Programmes related to Development and sustainability.
