Movimentos Sociais e Ação Política
Iniciado em outubro de 2014, e com cadência mensal, o seminário promove uma reflexão multidisciplinar em volta das temáticas ligadas aos movimentos sociais e às diferentes formas de ação política, de militantismo e de ativismo. O objetivo é de pôr em diálogo diferentes perspetivas, metodologias e abordagens com vista a desenvolver um debate aprofundado e inovador. O seminário pretende também aproveitar da especial posição de Portugal do ponto de vista geográfico, linguístico e epistemológico, para cruzar diferentes tradições de estudos sobre movimentos sociais e ação política, as várias europeia/norte-americanas e as sul-americanas, assim como para abranger casos e áreas muitas vezes excluídas desta área de estudos, como a África de língua portuguesa.

Cada evento, normalmente ocorrendo às quartas-feiras entre as 18h00 e as 20h00, consiste numa apresentação seguida de um comentário e um debate aberto à audiência.

Os organizadores, Guya Accornero e Tiago Carvalho, aceitam propostas para futuras apresentações.
