Alexandre Calado

M.A. in Urban Studies, ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon (2010), from 2015- PhD studies In Sociology, ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon. He is currently developing a PhD program entitled: “Community resilience in changing Welfare States: The crisis and its effects on local communities in a comparative perspective”, with supervision by Prof. Dr. Luís Manuel Capucha (CIES-IUL) and co-supervision by Prof. Drª. Kazimiera Wodz (University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland) and by Prof. Drª. Jane Grey (National University of Ireland, Maynooth). From 2012, researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology, at the University Institute of Lisbon, where he has been involved as a researcher in several research studies on education, with an emphasis on the evaluation of public policies, working both with academic institutions and governmental institutions.
