On the 12th of October, an Evocative Session of the Bicentenary of the Liberal Revolution of 1820 took place in the Assembleia da República.

Due to the current public health situation, participation in this event was limited to the three speakers: President of the Assembleia da República, Eduardo Ferro Rodrigues, President of the Commemorations of the 200 Years of the Constitutionalism, Guilherme d’Oliveira Martins, and President of the Exeutive Committee of the International Congress of the Bicentenary of the Revolution of 1820, Miriam Halpern Pereira.

The session was deferred broadcast on ARTV on October 13th.

The International Congress of the Bicentenary of the Revolution of 1820, initially scheduled for the 12th to the 14th of the current month of October, due to the circumstances, was postponed to the 11th to the 13th of October 2021.
