CIES-Iscte's application to join the ICSW - International Council on Social Welfare network was accepted, and Jorge Ferreira, CIES-Iscte researcher and Iscte professor, is the representative.

ICSW is a founding and active member of the Global Coalition for the Social Protection Floors, which connects over 80 organizations working on social policy issues and seeks to promote and monitor the implementation of Social Protection Floors, one of the network's central global policy objectives, in as many countries as possible.
