On November 14, the Portuguese team of the POIESIS project, led by professor and researcher Marta Entradas and including postdoctoral researchers Inês Sousa and Feng Yan, organized a roundtable at the Iscte-Knowledge and Innovation space with professionals from the fields of communication and ethics.

The discussion focused on institutional best practice recommendations regarding scientific integrity and science communication. Throughout the session, fourteen participants debated ways to implement these guidelines across four key areas: scientific integrity, the organization of science, public engagement, and science communication.

Participants described the meeting as a “much-needed discussion” and an excellent “learning opportunity.”

The results will be shared in early 2025.
