The XII Congress of the Portuguese Political Science Association will take place in Lisbon, on the campus of Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon, from 6 to 8 March 2025. 

This biennial congress will feature 7 thematic sections:  

• Portuguese Society and Politics 
• European Studies 
• Comparative Politics 
• Governance and Local Politics 
• Administration and Public Policy 
• International Relations 
• Political Theory 

We're looking for bachelor's and master's students interested in helping organise the event! As a volunteer, you will be part of the team responsible for providing the best experience for participants during the three days of the congress. 

We are looking for responsible, proactive students who are interested in collaborating in a major academic event. In order to facilitate the logistics of the congress, we prefer those who are able to attend all or at least two full days of the event. Knowledge of Portuguese and English is essential. 

We offer free access to the various panels of the congress (which have paid admission), a certificate of participation as a volunteer and an opportunity to gain some experience in organising academic events. 

Volunteers' schedules will be organised flexibly according to their availability.

The week before the event, on 27 February, a meeting will be organised with the team of volunteers to give them information about the congress.
