Ana
Rita
Coelho
is
a
researcher
at
the
Centre
for
Research
and
Studies
in
Sociology
(CIES-Iscte)
and
assistant
professor
at
LCT,
Iscte
–
University
Institute
of
Lisbon.
Her
main
research
areas
are
literacy
and
education,
lifestyles
and
public
policies,
and
sociology
of
science
and
technology.
Since
2004,
she
has
taken
part
in
a
wide
range
of
research
projects
within
CIES-Iscte,
including
“Reading,
School
and
Society:
Evaluation
Studies
of
the
National
Reading
Plan”,
“The
Network
Society
in
Portugal:
A
Decade
of
Transition”,
and
“External
Evaluation
of
the
Schools2030
Programme”.
She
obtained
her
PhD
in
Sociology
from
Iscte
in
2019,
with
the
dissertation
“Seniors
2.0:
Digital
Inclusion
in
the
Network
Society”.
She
currently
teaches
the
course
Technical
and
Scientific
Writing.
She
is
the
author
and
co-author
of
a
large
number
of
publications
and
scientific
communications.
