Amelung
is

sociology,

knowledge
and
technology
studies,
and
critical
migration
and
border
studies.
Explores
the
relationships
between
emerging
publics,
social
movements,
issues
of
citizenship
and
democracy,
and
digital
and
biometric
technologies
applied
in
migration
and
crime
control
regimes. She
was
a
visiting
researcher
