research
at
CIES-Iscte
in
the
areas
of
public
opinion,
institutional
trust,
the
relationship
between
science
and
society,
and
media-informational
ecologies.
His
work
emphasizes
quantitative
approaches,
including
multivariate
analysis
and
multilevel
modeling,
combined
with
a
sociological
interpretation
of
the
processes
by
which
public
attitudes
and
dispositions
are
formed.
He
has
participated
in
nationally
and
internationally
funded
projects,
including
BLOCKCHAIN.PT—the
“Decentralizing
Portugal
with
Blockchain”
initiative
and
“The
Matrix
of
Populist
and
Science-Denialist
Attitudes.”
He
has
published
on
trust,
media,
disinformation,
political
participation,
science,
and
digital
transformation.
He
is
a
visiting
adjunct
professor
at
the
School
of
Agriculture
of
the
Polytechnic
Institute
of
Santarém.
