holds
a
PhD
in
Sociology
from
the
University
Institute
of
Lisbon
(ISCTE-IUL)
and
also
a
Master's
degree
in
Communication,
Culture
and
Information
Technologies.
In
the
last
two
decades,
has
participated
in
several
projects,
namely
in
the
area
of
sociology
of
science,
technology
and
higher
education,
mostly
in
the
Center
for
Research
and
Sociology
Studies
(CIES-IUL).She
was
particularly
interested
in
scientific
culture
issues,
communication
and
public
participation
in
science.
In
recent
years,
as
a
teacher
has
also
been
focusing
on
matters
of
tourism
and
research
methods
in
social
sciences.
She
currently
has
a
position
as
assistant
professor
at
the
Estoril
Higher
Institute
for
Tourism
and
Hospitality
Studies.
