MediaLab Iscte

The MediaLab Iscte is dedicated to laboratory experimentation, support to research and production of editorial contents and is integrated in CIES-Iscte.
It was constituted with the strategic objective of creating a support space for scientific research and development of innovative projects, in the crossing between the theoretical-empirical research and the analytic-technological dimension that allows to follow the dynamics of transformation of the society network in the 21st century.
The laboratory is dedicated to the analysis of communication practices in its different models and objects - from digital to analogue, from text to image, sound, audiovisual and multimedia, to network analysis and online trends, related to social media networks, online research and users' opinions, information visualisation and data science.
