On the past 24 November, CIES-Iscte participated once again in Science and Technology Week, hosting about a hundred secondary school students from D. Pedro V and Rainha Dona Leonor Secondary Schools.
To celebrate the national day of scientific culture, CIES-Iscte opened its doors and organised a set of activities, providing participants with opportunities to contact social scientists from the various areas of scientific knowledge, but also to closely follow the techniques and methodologies that can be adopted in research.

The morning of November 24 was highlighted by the participation of students in five activities organised by researchers Maria Antónia Pires de Almeida, Sónia Pintassilgo, Violeta Alarcão, Fábio Faria, João Carvalho and José Moreno, as well as by brief presentations from CIES-Iscte and the School of Sociology and Public Policies of Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
At the end, there was also time for a final balance of the activities carried out by the students, with the aim of promoting reflection on the issues addressed.
