On October 24, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m., a conference will be held in the context of the PhD program in Sociology, entitled “Welfare state resilience in times of aging societies,” at Iscte - Knowledge and Innovation.

The conference will feature guest speaker David Bokhorst from the European University Institute.

The initiative is organized in the context of the PhD program in Sociology, in partnership with the School of Sociology and Public Policy and the Inequality, Work, and Social Welfare Research Group at CIES-Iscte.
