The Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte) of Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon invites doctoral students interested in applying to the 2026 FCT PhD Scholarships Call to submit an expression of interest indicating CIES-Iscte as host institution by 10 March 2026.
The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) has published the Call for Applications for both the General Line and the Specific Line in a Non-Academic Environment.
PhD Studenships are intended to fund research activities leading to the award of a doctoral degree.
The call for scholarships will be open from 2 to 31 March 2026.
To submit an expression of interest to CIES-Iscte, please send the following information to concursos.cies@iscte-iul.pt:
- Title of the Work Plan;
- PhD Programme attended (or to be attended);
- Supervisory team;
- Application Line (General or Non-Academic Environment)
Selected expressions of interest will be invited to attend an information session.
