The Emigration Observatory has published a new statistical report on the characterization of Portuguese emigration and the emigrated Portuguese population, drawing on a diverse set of national and international data sources for 2024.

This report had the support of the Office of the Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities (GSECP - Gabinete do Secretário de Estado das Comunidades Portuguesas) and the Directorate General for Consular Affairs and Portuguese Communities (DGACCP - Direção Geral dos Assuntos Consulares e das Comunidades Portuguesas).
