As part of Work Package 3 of the European project FAMA – Empowering Informed Citizens, CIES is organising a seminar dedicated to analysing the challenges of disinformation in contemporary digital ecosystems, taking place on 27 and 28 May 2026.

The event aims to promote media literacy, critical thinking, and civic engagement, bringing together students, researchers, and other relevant audiences to discuss the impacts of disinformation on democracy. Through presentations, debate, and interactive moments, the seminar will help equip participants with practical tools to identify, analyse, and respond to disinformation.

The seminar programme will be repeated in full on both days, allowing participants to attend on the date that is most convenient for them.
