the
fAIces

the
intersection

Science

Technology
Studies

Anthropology

Culture
Studies,
her
research
explores
how
artists
creatively
engage
with
facial
recognition
technologies,
emphasizing
repertoires
of
resistance,
critique,
and
alternative
sociotechnical
imaginaries.While
completing
her
Licentiate

she
was
distinguished
with
the
Bernardino
Machado
Award
for
Anthropology
(Best
Student)
from
the
Faculty
of
Sciences
and
Technology,

Her
