40 Years of CIES: Memories and Horizons

In 2025, CIES-Iscte celebrates 40 years of research, knowledge, and social engagement.

As part of its 40th anniversary, the Research Forum will take place on 12 December 2025, under the theme “40 Years of CIES: Memories and Horizons.” The event will revisit the Centre’s trajectory, honor its legacies, and explore future challenges.

The Forum will bring together founders, former directors, coordinators of research groups, directors of doctoral programs, editors of academic journals and publishing houses, and coordinators of observatories, for a day dedicated to sharing, reflection, and collective recognition.
